Legalisation - Business Documents

Business documents issued in the UK to be used in Egypt need to be apostilled by the FCDO and must be legalised by The General Consulate of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the UK. Some also require notary/solicitor certification.

Examples of these documents are Business Contracts, Power of Attorney, accounts, Certificates of Incorporation, Certificate of Incumbency, Certificate of Name Change, Memorandum of Association, Articles of Association, Companies House Documents, Resolutions and Minutes, Annual Returns, VAT Certificates, Accounts or Tax Returns, Contracts and Bills Of Sale, Licenses and Agreements, Certificate of Residency, Purchase or Sale documents, Certificate of Free Sale, Export Documents, Product Lists & Other Company Documents.

We offer a two-day turnaround service for all FCDO apostilles and then two more days for the Egyptian Consulate. 

This service can all be done by simply posting your document to the chamber and we take care of the rest. 

The chamber will then carry out the process for you which consists of the following steps:

  1. Check and certify your certificate.

  2. Submit your documents in person to the FCDO office in Milton Keynes.

  3. Collect your documents from the FCDO office in Milton Keynes.

  4. Take the documents to the Egyptian Consulate where they will be legalised.

  5. Collect your certificate from the Consulate.

  6. Return your legalised document via royal mail special delivery.

This service saves you time (15+ days) Travel to the Egyptian Consulate in London and queue for two consecutive days. 

The cost for this service is just £270 and £280 if they require solicitor certification.
