Our members expand into international markets. With bilateral trade between Egypt and the UK being our main area of focus, we present Egypt as the gateway to Africa and work closely with our collaborators to introduce our UK members to new markets in Egypt and beyond. This is achieved through a wide range of activities including networking events, sector-focused webinars and working groups, trade missions, marketing and showcasing opportunities, international market intelligence and one-to-one matchmaking support.
“The Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce serves as a vital bridge between Egypt and the UK, fostering trade, investment, and cultural exchange. We are committed to empowering businesses, driving innovation, and creating opportunities that strengthen the bonds between our two nations. Together, we build partnerships that deliver growth and prosperity for both economies.”

The Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce (the EBCC) has a rich history rooted in promoting and strengthening economic ties between Egypt and the United Kingdom. Established in 1981, the EBCC was founded to support bilateral trade, investments and collaboration between the two nations.
Over the decades, the EBCC has evolved into a pivotal organization, facilitating dialogue between governments, businesses and other stakeholders to address challenges and unlock opportunities in trade and economic development. By providing valuable resources, networking opportunities and expertise, the EBCC has played a key role in fostering mutual understanding, encouraging sustainable partnerships, and helping businesses navigate the complexities of trade between these two historically interconnected economies.
