The Egyptian British Chamber of Commerce was pleased to work alongside The Egyptian Commercial Service (ECS) and the Scottish Africa Business Association to organise a Hydrogen Roundtable on Egypt – an engaging and insightful event that brought together key stakeholders from Scotland and Egypt to explore opportunities in green hydrogen and the global energy transition.
The event brought together key stakeholders from Scotland and Egypt to explore opportunities in the hydrogen sector, discuss the global energy transition, and identify pathways for collaboration. Held in partnership with Scottish Development International, the highly engaging roundtable featured insights from leading experts and government representatives on Egypt’s green hydrogen and ammonia production potential, opening up meaningful discussions on future areas of cooperation between both countries.
The EBCC had the honour of uniting with distinguished speakers joining us live from Egypt – Alaa El-Bially Head of the Egyptian Commercial Service, Mr. Wael Abdelraheem Minister Plenipotentiary – Head of the Economic and Commercial Bureau, London, Dr. Karim Shahin National Projects Advisor, Cabinet of the Ministers, Eng. Ahmed Mahrous, General Manager of Energy Researches and Studies, Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy and Dr.Mohamed Abo Eldahab Green Economy General Manager.
