The EBCC are proud to announce that under the auspices of H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, and in the presence of H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed on June 15, 2025, between the Ministry of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation and the British Egyptian Chamber of Commerce (EBCC).

The MoU aims to enhance cooperation between the Egyptian government and the private sector by:

Facilitating access for Egyptian companies to financial and technical support through the “Hafiz” platform.

Promoting public-private partnerships to support sustainable economic development aligned with Egypt Vision 2030.

Organizing workshops and business meetings to improve access to international funding opportunities.

Strengthening communication between the business community and international development partners.

This agreement reflects Egypt’s ongoing commitment to empowering the private sector, improving the business climate, and advancing inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
