The EBCC was pleased to host another successful webinar as part of its ‘Live From’ Campaign, this time focusing on Egypt’s renewable energy sector and the opportunities emerging across the market and wider supply chain.

Held on Tuesday 8 September 2026, the webinar brought together UK organisations and key representatives from Egypt’s renewable energy and wider energy landscape, providing valuable insight into the country’s ambitions, developments and opportunities for international businesses.

The session explored a range of important developments within Egypt’s renewable energy landscape, including:

• Egypt’s Renewable Energy Landscape – strategy, infrastructure, connectivity and green hydrogen

• Egypt’s Energy Transition Plan and the role of NREA, including programmes and government support

• Green Hydrogen Opportunities – infrastructure, technology, projects and success stories

• North Africa’s Green Energy Landscape and Egypt’s role as a regional interconnection hub
