EBCC Represented at ARELEN 2026 Programme Hosted by Bournemouth University

The Egyptian-British Chamber of Commerce was pleased to attend the 2026 ARELEN Programme hosted by Bournemouth University on 11 May 2026.

This year’s programme focused on “Vocational Education: Global Opportunities for Universities”, bringing together leaders from academia, industry, and international organisations to discuss collaboration, labour mobility, trade, and the future role of universities in economic development.

During the programme, the EBCC contributed Egyptian perspectives on promoting trade and investment between Egypt and the UK, while highlighting the importance of strengthening connections between education, industry, and employment opportunities. Discussions also explored how universities can further support vocational capacity, international partnerships, and economic growth through stronger engagement with business and commerce.

The EBCC would especially like to thank Bournemouth University for hosting such an insightful and engaging programme. We look forward to supporting and encouraging future initiatives that strengthen international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and UK–Egypt partnerships across the education and business sectors.
